moving on

Contributed by rizer on Tuesday, 26th June 2007 @ 04:34:27 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Moving on is hard to do
when all my life I wanted you.
Your answer was silent but cold, shattering my heart that I thought was solid as gold.
I stand with my only friend named lonliness, accepting its dark, bitter, sour kiss.
So much pain, so hard to bear. My body's gone numb in such great despair.
I tried to forget you, but my memories don't. I tried to hate you, but my broken heart won't.
I guess I'll watch from afar, you never noticing my falling star.

I find exception in your author's note, poet. The truth is, I
fear, it's not just sometimes hard to move on, but ever and
always, methinks. Even when we know it's for the best; even
when we can see (oh GOD! we can see), the future will be
much brighter from here; even when we make that most
painful and difficult decision ourself. Yes ... much pain
and despondency within your words .... but there is a
bright side. You have written out your emotion and in
doing so have at least processed some of that anguish.

There are no easy answers .. we learn by doing
and we just keep on doing. :) Hoping each day
gets better and easier for you ...

(good luck)

Many cant move on.many cant not stop.but there many reasons in ones" life why they .cant. For one who falls.."in love" its hard to continue, yet, if ALL isnt a part of that. Why hang on?!?! Yes, we have to move, yet sometimes its for other reasons....

I hope you find a reason to hang, or set free.which ever is suitable for thyself. Just member do it for your happiness, and not for another.....never settle

Brew~
