In A Land Quite Like Our Own

Contributed by WildFire on Saturday, 1st March 2003 @ 06:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

In a land quite like our own, the time moves slower than our's alone. In this land are magicks bold. Strange creatures there are to behold. Swift and tricky are the sprites, do not mistake them for only lights. Gryffins young and gryffins old, we will never hear their stroy told. Keep away from dragon's den, for if unknown you are to them, you will wish you had left then. Unicorns majestic may be, but harm one hair on their pure head, then cursed are you on your death bed. Men of magick, men of plain, do roam the wide world's main. Elves of great and grace are there, but great pain do they bear. There was a race that once did live, then their lives did they freely give. For protection of the world of old, was their magick greatly bold.
In this land we find young Kae, ever since that fateful day. Met with Will the elf she did, "Come with me!" Was what he bid. Into tunnel dark and long, went the two so fast along. Stepped into that world of old did Kae's feet there did hold. Master Emeron is her guide, her whole life her parents lied, about her race were lies laced, to hide her from the world of old. Now hear the story of one girl's life, which gave her, her great strife. Kae the Normal, to Kae the great, was what did happen once through the gate. Here are tales of new and old, the Sorceress Tales are to be told.
