All my life I’ve been weak,
So when death comes,
I wont turn the other cheek,
I’ll stand strong and face it’s wrath,
And take each breath as my last,
I wont run in fear,
When the end is near,
I’ll say my goodbyes,
And let my spirit rise,
I wont wallow in self pity,
Or think of the things I didn’t get to see,
I’ll take the last train,
And think of the day we’ll meet again

Whoa! This is brilliantly powerful. It had me pondering of how much strength is in looking fear in the face and saying "Okay go ahead". WOW! I came into this write not knowing what to expect so expecting little. Looking and the shortness of lines and overall poem I began expecting very little. But, damn was I wrong. I enjoyed this immensely and even must admit am a little inspired.
As Tot said this was short but damn did it ever say so much. I love this sentiment and the ending was just WOW! Excellent work, be proud!
SUPERB!
