Howie and Me and Our Garden of friends

Contributed by whisper on Saturday, 23rd June 2007 @ 08:08:41 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

Sitting here this afternoon sharing Date squares with me dog Howie
Just a ole lady in a straw hat
Talking to herself in the garden back yard
The yard with the Big Hug Huge Elder tree

Howie and me went to wandering today
And were
Visited by the Fairies at home
They always come to frolich and play
Among the bluebells and Sunflowers
Garden beds, Toadstools and Clay figures

I know that Howie can see them just as I can
Cause they play a game of Tag as He runs and plays
There is one who comes and tells me all the news of their lands
And most are really quite charming
So much better sounding than here

The Queen's new web and dew pearled wings
And her cloaks of Rainbow colored shimmer and Fish scale skin
Water drop Tiara's and a wand of incandescent light
With power explicit of the Night fly veteran verbosity
Gentle is her voice as if tiny glass slivers tinkling

Her hair a whisper of moon beam swept gentle across her brow
The raven black hair loose and flowing in the back
Scarlet Red shash
Tied high upon her head
With a string of tiny abalone mollusk shells
Draping to the waist

Oh how Funny is That Howie
This ole ladies favorite pup
Still chasing those fairies on the wind
Smelling where them Butterflies have been.
And with a turn
Some thing catches his eye
And he's off again

Now getting back to the news of the Queen
Oh perhap its getting late to just sit and chat
I am keeping you from whimsy and glinting
So go and we can talk more another day.

Looks like storm clouds rollin in
Kinda typical for
Looks like our
Summer has come.

Thank you Fairy Friends that come to me.
To Include me in your little fairy land.
To drag me from these earthy thrills
and Stormy weather

Whisper
