obsession

Worried while she was sick
Her face lost all her shape
She burst into tears
Following her tears we would make love
Night after night
“Kid, Kid,” she would tell me
She was so cold
But she warmed up
Night after night
“Don’t touch me” she said
And hit me across the face
I tasted the blood
She swung again
A leather belt across my chest
Her mood swung
I forgave her again
Night after night
So satiated
