My Angel

Contributed by Thespia on Sunday, 17th June 2007 @ 07:45:37 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I know we may never be together
Life is just not that sweet
But I pray that you think of me always
Even if we never meet

Think of me in a kind way
As the girl who touched your heart
Don’t be sad if we never meet
As then, we didn’t really part!

You’ve given my life new meaning
That’s strong, brave and true
My very existence was a joke!
Until the day I met you.

You may never know
Exactly what you’ve done for me
But these words will stand immortal
So, one day you will finally see

You lifted my heart and spirit
Took them with you way up high
My Angel, ill always love you
Even if, in the end, we say goodbye!

A lovely and sad write, from the bottom of your heart.I understand how you feel, and can sense your pain.Love is beautiful...it can give you wings to fly,but it can also break those wings and make you fall from a high!It almost feels like the wound would never heal, and the momories linger forever and ever. The worst part is that there is only that one special someone who can REALLY remove the pain...it's a helpless feeling.Do know however, that ones life is mapped out,and what is meant to be will be.Sometimes love has to leave for a while,to find it's way back. There is always a reason...everything in life happens for a reason.See it like this...If that person is meant for you,you will have 'em.There is no other way.Love always finds it's way..in the right time and place, what will be will be.Never stop believing in what is...be gentle with yourself and allow yourself to go through the pain to heal.Time will tell...Stay strong and good luck. Thanks for sharing your beautiful poem. ~~Oceandreamer~~

Love has this enormous power to complete us in one moment and then in the next rip us to pieces. You have captured these conflicting emotions very well.

Tears flowing for you across the ocean. You have expressed your pain very eloquently ,but the searing pain is quite evident. A love lost may very well be a love gained. Chin up. Warmly, Chrissy
