Can't Forget To Remember

I’m not that stupid little girl you might think I am,
But I’m walking in chains along with the damned
I can’t stand, take my hand, oh that’s right, you just can’t
Because I’m first to show you life isn’t all planned

Dragged along the rocky ride
I’m noticing for the first time
How much I dream of being alive
Decide

I can’t find a place, I’m losing my face
I’m seeing that faith is not meant to take place
Of the logic and hardness required to pull through
I’m missing you

Dragged along the rocky ride
I’m noticing the second time
How much I need to stay alive
To find

Vicious is an understatement in this case
I need a pinch of a clue and a handful of grace
I can’t take this, my shame is taking over me
You were through and I can’t even see

Dragged along the rocky ride
I’m wondering if there’s still time
To look into your deep brown eyes
And find

There’s a void full of noise in that vast space of me
So annoyed, overjoyed to be rid of me
Take my life to the sea tie me up watch me breathe
In my doom

Dragged along the rocky ride
I’m not taking this one more time
I’m getting loose, throw me a line
Goodbye

Overshot it, little bit, forgive me
I had to get my point across so you might believe
I’m allowed to be loud and voice my hate for you
It’s the truth

Dragged along the rocky ride
You close your mouth and shut your eyes
You’re asking me if I’m alive
I’d love to answer, but I’m out of time

Is your guilt now setting in
Too bad, you’ll have to live with it
Don’t worry, soon I know you’ll quit
Next week will be a different skit

I think this would make a great song, what with the aggression, the rhythm and the rhyme.
Very emotionally intense, I liked the repetition in this.
