Gang Up and Blow Me Down

Contributed by xXdeadXpoetXx on Friday, 15th June 2007 @ 11:08:12 PM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

gang up on me please
im needing the pain
that this family forces
im at it again

im trying to call
and talk to a friend
but im gritting my teeth
so when will this end

here as i beg
its my business, not yours
im wanting like bad
to settle the score

but my little box
on the score card is blank
but the words you guys force
how much more can i take

my jaw has been bleeding
im gritting it hard
when can i put
a mark on that card

gang up on this one
with nothing to lose
how can you stand
to do this you choose

its sickening how
the family laughs
as im digging the scissors
dead in my calf

im painting nail polish
murals on doors
and watching the paint
down the wood as it pours

nobody's there
im all alone lately
and as i was sleeping
i knew i can't take it

so please, ill beg this
stop, just one time
and notice how much
you are hurting this mime

im this because speech
won't dare cross my lips
without it's fine partner
one named my fists

next time its fists
not words that jump lips
cause next time you're
finding yourself in a ditch

stop making me
keep feeling like ****
cause i've really just had
enough of it

now i am done
im off of my knees
nothing i say can erase
what's in me

theres no point in begging
their sadism flows
next time one hit
bites them under the nose

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
