Oh my dearest Mother,
You're the best i know,
All that i possess
Gladly is all that i owe,
You stood and watched
When i made you so proud,
And you dragged me past
As i failed for the crowd,
You gave me the mind
Allowed me strength to draw,
Knowing i love you
When you threatened no more,
I apologise my failings,
Though they gave me sight,
To appreciate my saviour,
You are a guiding light,
You could never sit by,
Just watch my battle,
Had a share in my scars,
And shook up a rattle,
You appeared Goliath
Engulfing dear David,
I regret i assumed
I oft felt enslave'd,
No greater force there is,
To drive forth my living,
More accepting than Jesus
And twice as forgiving,
As arrow true and straight,
Did you loom oe'er my head,
I thank you so much mum
Whom without i'd be dead
