For freedom is when you have nothing left to lose

I have no name I have no identity,
I have no religion I must practice everyday,
I don’t have to prepare what I am going to say
I don’t have friends I am willing to die for,
I dont have a family to lie to or lie for,
I live in a different world distant and far,
I haven’t met my parents I don't know where they are.
I have no girl to hold hands and walk by the bay,
I don't have diary that I have to write in
neither do I have a job where I have to sign in,
There are no clothes that I must wear,
No pretensions or masks that I must bear
there’s nothing that I must do or nothing that I must not,
I am what I want to be,
I am totally free!
I am walking down a beach, just cherishing the sea,
No calls to answer, no one I need to see
There are no bags on my shoulders as I continue walking,
I look at the sun and we start talking,
like him, I have nowehere to go, nowhere to reach
Nothing to do, nothing to preach
I am one with the trees one with the soil,
I have nothing to prove I don’t need sweat nor toil,
the sun sets as I stop to breathe,
he's beautiful, I wave him goodbye,
I am where I want to be,
I am totally free.

Of your sentiments I am not in complete agreement with you. The freedom to be attached to certain things is truest freedom. In my personal estimation the lack of being attached to a faith, love, or even occupation keeps you from enjoying true freedom which is rapturing yourself in the wonders of the world. You cannot feel what you do not understand and you cannot understand that which you do not feel. In other words giving into (for lack of a better term) life in a lazy dream is giving into the tyrrany of nothingness and one who does such will cease to exist or have any effect on the world including his own. There is nothing free about being alone. In fact that is why the worst part of prison is solitary confinement.
Okay away from my personal opinions...sorry about that. If I were to take away my personal beliefs I found this to be a very gentle and embracing poem. Well worded and lovely. Though I do not agree with inspiration or beauty within it. It's a good poem but I feel in all honesty this is a work of either sarcasm (which is not clearly stated and if this is the case than my points are useless) or this is the work of a narcisist in which (I am sorry for this) does not need to be posting poetry. Because if the author indeed wants to be free of giving then why is this displayed to the public if not only for personal satisfaction. Therefore he is not free but ruled by the way that others see him.
This poem's posting completely contradicts the work itself. I am at a loss. Sorry!
Not Too Poetic!
