The princess sat at the edge of her lake
Enjoy the beautiful day
Enjoy a piece of cake
When a frog jumped her way.
Said the frog, “Fair Princess, O woe is I!
A witch cast her spell on me
I was a prince, I do not lie!
Now I’m a frog, you can clearly see
But I know a way to remove my spell
A way you’ll surely want to hear
Just one kiss from a fair maiden, and well!
I’d be a prince again, my dear!
We’ll move to my kingdom and live with my mother
(The queen of the land of Selltingernife)
And you’ll cook all my meals and bear my children and make clothes for my brother
And be my happy, faithful, gracious wife!”
Later that night the princess did eat
The best frog legs ever she did know
And said with a laugh and a kick of her feet
“ I don’t friggin' think so!”

I'll be honest, i love it. And it's rare i'll say that, especially about anything with supposed humour. there were a couple of lines that sounded a little force, most notably 'The best frog legs ever she did know" Just ruined the flow slightly for me. Though apart from than that, top notch stuff. |
