LoveRemembered

memory...
memory you haunt me
in the deepest of the night.
I feel I have been
sleeping in a slumber
not quiet right.
strong struggling
toward a waking shore
water-colored, 3-D, sublime...
bewildered and enchanted,
I dare unfold our time
to gaze upon the thought of us.
the thought and feel of you.
this maze transcending...
of days gone by
of love we loved.
a love that's neverending.
I try to get my mind around.
my mind-set ever bending...
I breathe....
I breathe you
in and out of me
I sigh, we sigh, you're gone.
I can't imagine
how long to wait
or what it might become.
I only know
you take my breath
how you take my breath
until I realize, forlorn
you are just a memory
of lost love
glowing...gone.

i think that that love has not entirely left, but is temporarily unavailable at this juncture in your life. beautifully written, keep writing and try to be happy with love, it might be absent, but it most certainly does not control us from living life to the fullest!
