Last night I took those pills,
For something more than just a thrill.
We knew I had way too much,
And that soon I would be cold to the touch,
Yet this was another failed attempt,
Because the angel of death was never sent.
Well there's 90 dollars gone forever,
I guess these weren't so pure,
No death tonight, maybe tomorrow,
One more day to live with this sorrow.
