SUCH A LOVE SO PURE,
I DOVE RIGHT IN.
BUT I JUST WASN'T SURE,
SO I DROPPED LOVE'S GREATEST SIN.
HOW DO YOU LET GO,
RUN AWAY WHEN IT FEELS SO GOOD?
STAND FACE TO FACE WITH ETERNAL FLOW,
WHEN I SEE HERE IS TO STAY, WHERE I SHOULD?
BUT SUCH A THING IS NOT FOR ME,
NEVER HAS BEEN, PROBABLY NEVER WILL.
I CANNOT LET MYSELF SEE,
MY HEART MUST ALWAYS BE STILL.
SO I STILLED MY BEATING HEART,
CEASED IT FROM RINGING TRUE.
BUT SOMEHOW IT MANAGED TO START,
AND COME RUNNING BACK TO YOU.
