First you take off your clothes
Now lay down over there
Don’t worry the grown ups
Really don’t care
You touch me here
And kiss with your tongue
You will know how to do it
Before we are done
Your Mom said don’t do that
But I know it’s ok
Many times I played this game
And He always does it that way
It is a secret understand my friend
Between me and you
Don’t cry, ok we won’t play
It used to make me cry too

As a victim I urged every parent to educate their child about their bodies and their rights at the first moment they understand it. (hoping that would be soon enough)
I taught my step daughter to come to me if anyone ever touched her. Even her own Dad.
Many times she was angry when I said no sleep overs....but after her girlfriends suffered a sexual abuse, she came home and thanked me for not letting her go. This is a poem that will make people think about this...it has been in the closet far too long. Wonderful and courageous write.
