He said he loved me, damn I was a fool,
Because he took all my insecurities and weakness and used them as a tool
To get his way
To get me to stay
Through all the bull*****
The yelling, screaming, and even when he hit.
After two and half years he made the mistake of knocking me
Back into reality
And I realized he can't really love me
So I looked inside myself to pull all the strength I could
And walked through the door
Like I should
Have done many many times before.
