Angel Of Death

Topic: DarkPoetry

The angel of death visit
At will,

No need to lock your
Doors..

He needs not a key, he
Appears like a puff of

Air and snatches up your
Soul

Know matter the time nor
The day..

Leaving your once living
Body now still and cold..

Shut off from the light

Covered with the black
Earth..

It does not matter if young
Are old..

Female are male when the
Death angel come calling

You will be detached from
Your soul,

And carried into the night
Your body in tomb..

In your bed for all eternity

Know matter how many
Times he visit,

You know he is still lurking

Around the shadowy bushes

To jump out at your soul,

Yes, I have seen him

He came to me when he taken

My brother Billie,

He eased thru my door and

Jumped into my body as I

Cried out for my Momma Etta

He was dressed in a black

Cloak and a black wide brim

Hat..

I fell back on my bed and cried
Till the day light..

I knew he was the death angel cause

He visited me once before..

This story I tell to you today is true

I promise you..

Seeing the death angel is not a

Treat,

Knowing someone you love will pass

Into another world..

Death is such a beautiful thing, everyone fears it when it should be embraced with open arms. Keep up the great work.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
