Wounds of the heart are bothersome indeed
They are the only wounds that do not bleed
But the cure is bothersome still
Love from someone else will
But how can this cure be acquired?
When your presence is no more desired
Than placing your hand on an open fire
So you sit and cry
Wish to die
As the wound in your heart starts to rot
For something desired you are not
Your mind an angry mass
Your soul tattered and bruised
Your heart a painful lump
When will it pass?
Bothersome indeed
That they do not bleed
For a bandage is all one would need

I love it! This has got to be one of the best pieces of literature I have ever read! As soon as I find out anything about your poems being published I'll let you know.
Your favorite cousin and biggest fan,
Jason |
