I’m sitting here on pins and needles
Waiting for your sign
Sitting here on pins and needles
I’m bleeding for you but it’s fine
Run a hang through your disheveled hair
And tap your finger impatiently
I see you sitting there
And I hear you groan faintly
Listen to my song
You know you can’t go wrong
I like it when you sing along
Find the place that you belong
I’m sitting here on pins and needles
Fighting off the feelings
Sitting here on pins and needles
Passionately you I am craving

Hmm. It's not bad, but not good, either. A little plain. This song didn't have any heart, any meaning, any passion when I read it. To be truthful, it seemed a like a jumble of words that one would hear in a sad song, but they didn't really fit together.
Work on it. |
