Sudden Revelation.......

The unique sounds I hear, are signs that can only mean my night's slumber is about to end. Not possessing the desire just yet to face the new day's sun. I continue to lay in the warm comfort of my bed. My mind drifting in and out of what seems like a infinite number of thoughts, slowly it begins its decent onto the reality of the day at hand. Task's still requiring their completion, Task's that cry out to be started. I tell myself I must try again, to organize and prioritize! I sit up and reluctantly rub away the remaining bits of night dust from my eyes. These eyes that earlier so easily allowed the night's darkness to conquer, struggle now to allow the sun's shinning brilliance entry.
Then in a instant moment of revelation, I begin to realize my fickle nature! The morning light I welcome in my moments of anxious anticipation, I curse now in my yearning for continued sleep. A mirroring of what my life has become? I resist the temptation still, to give into this suggestion. My mind and heart maintain a posture of conflict, and issues to this regard never reach a peaceful resolution. I fear though, that in my attempt to flee from these possible truths, my escape will be in vain. Captured my eventual punishment will be to accept that which I have always held with disdain!

this is really good nice vivid images and details. It is not a poem format and it would be neat to see what you would do with a different format and style. Awesome writing though just the same.
