Sicily!
My Sicily-
How my heart leaps forward to your door as I pass each day-
My face grows flush! My heart grows pale!
Oh Sicily-
My Sicily-
Might I drag you into hell, for just one kiss?
Might I charge upon your loathsome door and knock- and if it might resist, a steadier knock.
Might I knock and you should answer-what luck-what trembling broken thought-
The thought of opening a door-the crumbling splinters of the door turning out-the curious look upon your face-what trembling broken thoughts to have-the crumbling splinters of the door?
Oh Sicily-
My heart grows cold upon the threshold of your red-lit door!
