How I like It

I like my poetry
served cold
So you can feel
every flavor,
with each bite.
I like it raw
and bitter,
enough to upset me
boiling in my stomach
giving me gas
I like my poetry
to be like a murder.
Like a stabbing.
With each line
a thrust of the
knife
And the end.
Finished with a
violent twist.
I like it to be
like a car accident.
Hit and Run style.
It happens quickly,
Loud and terrifying
leaving the victim
confused of what happened.
This is just
How I like it
Now I will be
kind enough to
pull the knife out.

I like this indeed,
the style and content shows a great deal of imagination.

The sign of a good poet I think...liking it most when it takes the most out of you, when it hurts the worst..~Tot |
