I'm doomed to be in misery

A couple of weeks ago my exgirlfriend had her stomach pumped.
I accidentally served her some bad oysters and I got dumped.
I didn't know the food had gone bad, I was only trying to serve her a meal.
She wanted nothing else to do with me after she got ill.
I still say that dumping me was superficial of her.
If I live to be a hundred, I'll still love her.
If she truly loved me, she would've been able to forgive.
Now I'm doomed to be in misery for as long as I live.

I know this is a fictional poem, but it would be real terrible if this occured in real life. To be dumped over bad food is a real superficial reason to break up with someone. Yeah, if she loved you, she would have forgave you, but she probably didn't love you. And if someone broke up with me over something that stupid, of course I'd be sad but I'd have a good laugh as well from the sheer ridiculousness of it all.
I rather enjoyed it

I found this poem quite funny. It really tickled my sadistc laughter cord. I'm not sure if this was intended to be humourous or sad, but it is still funny.
I liked this one. Nice rythm. |
