Thunder and lightning

The thunder roars and the lightning strikes.
The rain is pouring late at night.
Some people hate thunder storms.
But I've enjoyed them since the day I was born.
It's 2 A.M. and the lightning flashes through the window.
The storm is nearly over and I hate to see it go.

| Storms are so majestic, aren't they? Despite the fact that they are delightful poetic subjects, I've always feared them myself. Anyway, you have a nice poem. |
