Drowning
in a sea of blackness
Spinning....swirling....
slowly being drug down
to the deepest depths
Blackness
has filled my lungs
Expanding...exploding...
over filled bronchi turned
into tubes of death
Ringing
has been resounding in my ears
Screaming...Bursting
Pressure hard against membranes
with each breath of black, I take
Mourning
a heart that's died
Crying...Questioning
Brain functional and I have but one thought
Leave only black flowers...at the wake

Sis,
I must agree with my Crow on this one....
The write in itself as always written with a pen touched with true talent.
The pain and sorrow I feel while reading makes me heart bleed for you...... What can I do?? Pm me or give me a call Im home.

It is truly a very painful and heart crunching poem.
I wish and pray every thing is fine and peaceful at your side.

laura,
it seems to me that the sadest poems, reach out to my soul the most. maybe, its because black is the deepest color. at times ive seen the brightest and most brilliant enlightenment in the chasm of darkness.
from your sadness arises a profound humanity. something beautiful. keep your head up girl.
peace and love always,
mike |

My dear sis, I know how pained your heart has been and I
know of your struggle to continue to find strength. I wish
with all I am, that I could take that away, if only for a moment.
But damn girl! This was an exceptional, (and I do mean EXCEPTIONAL)
metaphor. Holy HECK! You have mastered dark poetry with
amazing aplomb here. I am impressed beyond articulation.
Even through the darkness, I see a light.
Brilliant work, here my friend. Absolutely!!
hopes, prayers and love,
~MG |

written from that deep place inside... it is excellent, to be able to write such beauty from pain, this is art, this is poetry, not enough stars for this one,
