I should of dove in,
try and sink to the bottom.
And if the fall didn’t
kill me, (which I wouldn’t of minded)
Then I could of started a new.
Run off, Never to return
to the states, or my life
It would have been
best to belly flop
into that disease full river
Have my limp body
float down the middle
of Paris
Or to paddle
upstream to
escape my family,
Start a new, Run off
become a carne
become a gypsy
Anything other
than what I’m doing now
Standing there on
that bridge looking
down into the water
I should of just
jumped

I am happy to hear that this is just writing and not what you are really thinking.
This is powerful and profound.... I liked the way it seemed you were speaking directly to the reader making it so detailed and real, pictures in the minds eye unfolding.....
one question........ are you really in Paris??
*smiles*
