Passing here day after day that mountain by my feet
After this time barely noticeable now
Others see it as a giant’s seat
To me nothing more than where dwarves would take their bow
But these magical creatures never had life
Just the imagination of Tolkien or the like
So why write about this untrue strife?
Why write about the impaled goblin on the pike?
When this mountain I never allowed myself to see
Is more impressive than any fantastic tale
As only now it does mean something to me
Far more than Jonah and his Whale
To many today this love of nature’s monster is regressel
But how come all along I had never seen this incredible vessel?
