If only you knew

Contributed by nothingness on Thursday, 31st May 2007 @ 11:09:17 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I know you seen me looking at you
I wonder what you’d say if you only knew
Why I cry every single night
And why I try to avoid your sight
I don’t want you to see my strings
That holds me up and makes me do the things
That rips me apart from day to day
If you only knew, what you would say
Would you tell me no one cares?
Would you see why everyone stares?
Would you turn your back and walk away
Leaving me here to cry another day
I wonder if you already see
Everything I try so hard to be
Can you see all the things that I hide?
So far away buried deep down inside
I feel like I’m naked in front of a crowd
Cuz these words are my diary screaming out loud
Just begging you to read on and understand
Reach out to me and give me your hand
Hold me close and never let me go
Kiss me softly and tell me u love me so
But here I am still just looking at you
I wonder what you’d say if you only knew

Ah yes, a poem everyone can relate to. Actually, I was a bit dissapointed when I read lines 7 and 8, but whatever. Still beautiful.
