The only thing better than walking out the door
In the worlds most beautiful gown,
Complete with the most elegant accessories,
Wearing perfectly exquisite make-up
With your hair done up beautifully, each and every strand
With the greatest shoes in the whole galaxy to dance the night away in
Having a dreamest date
with a nice car to boot;
Is walking out the door
In slacks
A T-shirt
with a group of goofy friends
getting to take the bus,
and knowing you look fabulous!

I liked your idea, and the first stanza was great. But the message of this poem still seems to be: True beauty is still skin deep. |
