Lady, you’re like a queen of old so noble
in carriage and your attire is striking.
Art thou fair ruler of San Christobal
with gracious charms that men find most liking.
Speak but the word and you’ll find me piking
with spear those that defame your dignity.
Take this my strong hand in yours dear Riking
and I swear I’ll defend thy sovereignty.
Should I not play this part throughout life’s brevity?
