There once was a man, who was esteemed by others,
Born in a wonderful world, full of all colors.
His life had meaning, with a path and a quest,
All leading to a final, glorious test.
The wind blew his hair, and then through the trees,
Creating a symphony of sound, like so many bees.
He had a sword, and a pack, full of his tools,
Which he would need to overcome all of life's rules.
Confident he was, that all was in order,
So he set forth with diligence, until he met with The Warder.
Standing in the path, shining like the sun,
He was clad with the armor of "All Goes Undone."
There was a magnificent battle; words said, swords clanging,
But no matter what the man did, nothing was changing.
His stamina ran out, all energy spent,
And this marks our hero's abysmal descent.
He kneeled to the ground, begging for mercy,
Although The Warder had everything, except for his pity.
He took the man's sword, broke it in two,
Then took his pack, and tossed all but a few.
Taking the best items, our hero's heart and his soul,
He chopped them to pieces, and then laughed like a ghoul.
Quickly the world all around began to change,
The color, the love, even the bees went deranged.
The sun was blotted out, The Warder's armor turned stone,
Now the true nature of the man's adversary was shown.
The Warder walked out, like a turtle out a shell,
Our hero now knew of The Warder's own hell.
Scrawny and thin, the old man was so weak,
And he realized that's why he preyed on the meek.
Showing compassion, he left him alone,
Continuing down the path, his back to the moans.
Now our hero is cursed to walk down this path,
Without love, or the colors, he now walks through his wrath.
