LoveRemembered

Tears
Remembering the last ten days
I think
They were among the happiest of my life
I’ll always remember them, and you.
For there I learnt that
There are still nice people on this world
I don’t know
If you feel the same
But you’ve taught me
That life is still good
It was fun
These last days
And I’ve finally found
What they mean
When they speak of true friendship
In all those cards and poems
I dread to think
That maybe you’ll forget me
As soon as we part
But I won’t think about that
It might not even be true
Still…
It hurts to leave you all
It’s not a quick sharp pain,
Like a dagger in the heart;
It’s blunt, always there,
Like a cold, hard mace,
As if someone was slowly
Chewing on my heart,
Not killing it,
Just hurting,
Hugging my pillow at night
Tears come to my eyes
Cause I miss you so
I felt such a strong kinship
Such a tight bonding,
Team spirit,
And for those, I thrive,
I won’t forget you,
Please, please don’t forget me?
You don’t know,
Probably never will,
But,
I love you.

As if someone was slowly
Chewing on my heart,
Not killing it,
Just hurting,
I could really 'fee' your pain with these words. Thanks for sharing your work. |
