I finally found the friendship they talk about in poems
The kind that’s forever
That you’ld always remember
Ten days gone by so fast,
I was free from worry or hate,
I was completely at ease,
And I felt such great joy
As to explode this mere, mortal heart,
Eyes shining bright,
Enthusiasm shown in every single little deed,
When we were together,
Grinning happily and wanting to burst into song,
When we were together,
It was so, so fun,
Then, we had to part.
It’s like a knife plunged into the soul,
Yet I won’t cry for people to see,
But I’m crying deep, deep inside,
I miss them all so much.
There was a kind of bonding,
I wish it could have been so much more,
But there just wasn’t enough time.
I loved every moment of my stay,
It was great fun and taught me about life,
Have you ever felt so happy?
So happy you’re with ‘family’?
And you’re reduced to do childish acts,
To let out all that emotion somehow
‘Cause you don’t dare to hug everyone
So, so tight,
And then it’s taken away,
And you’re left to pine,
Cry, cry, cry,
For I love them so.

I think the bittersweet sorrow portrayed in this poems helps to truly define the value of a relationship with someone who cares.
