that night i invited you into my home
that night you invited yourself in too
now, i don't know exactly how
we went from sweaters to skin
but the goosebumps created a sea of
land minds that frantically detonated
when your lips cautiously traveled though
now, i don't remember who made the first move
but i do remember it was a flawless groove
i felt a heartbeat through my back
whether is was yours or mine didn't matter much
as long as you felt it too
