Enigmatic
Complicated
Nothing left inside

Can there be an ending
When the middle’s
Taken leave, across the time
A better need than mine

I’m just a shell;
That’s so cliché.
And yet no better words exist
To find a soul that’s sooner missed
Than found

“I am who I am
Well really, who am I?”*
No one will ever know
The me inside of I inside of my
Thoughts and hopes and dreams
Best left unsaid
