Dichotomically Yours

Topic: LovePoetry

You never seem to let me down.

You always seem so captivating.
Perhaps that's why I'm salivating,
For a brief chance of decapitating,
The part of your head deactivating
Your normal thinking process.
But then, I picture your face,
A colorful spark among the gray,
A Mother Theresa among child molesters,
A Marilyn Monroe among Marilyn Mansons,
The single star of a hopeless night sky.
Your lips, so red like seething stoplights-
But your green eyes tell me to ease off the brake.
And I don't know what to do,
Because I've reached the point of no return,
Yet a stern, policing eye is fixated on my vehicle
Daring me to cross through the yellow-
Which of course is an extension of the red.
When I look into your eyes, I see
An endless mystery,
A peakless pinnacle,
A rootless tree,
A ruthless vigor,
An untamed chi,
A sense that's forgotten,
A sense that's free.

While I admit that I've had visions of stabbing a tent stake into the inner realms of your colon,
I also admit that I am a fool.
