Thank you for the times we shared
Oh friend who was never there
Thank you for being the one that cared
Oh friend that was never there
Thank you for the laughs and tears
Oh friend that was never there
Thank you for teaching me to face my fears
Oh friend who was never there.
Thank you for staying with me when times were tough
Oh friend that was never there.
And telling me to hold on when I had enough

But now those times are all but none
The happy days are all now done
But thanks to you I dearly swear
Oh friend who was never there.
