BEAUTIFUL RAINBOWS CHASING BUTTERFLIES,MOMA ALWAYS SAID
THERE WAS A POT OF GOLD
ON THE OTHER SIDE
CATCHING LIGHTING BUGS
WE PUT THEM IN A JAR SO
WE WOULD HAVE OURSELF
A LATERN FOR WHEN IT GOT
DARK
CATCHING JUNE BUGS
TIE A STRING ON THEIR LEG
WATCHING THEM FLY AROUND
IN THE WARM SUMMER DAYS
GOING TO THE RIVER
FOR JUST A LITTLE SWIM
OH BOY DID WE HAVE
FUN WAY BACK THEN
MY SISTERS AND I AND MY
BROTHER TO WE HAVE A LOT OF
GOOD MEMORIES A FEW SAD ONES TO
WE TALK ABOUT THE GOOD ONES
CAUSE THEY OUT WEIGH THE SAD
WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY MY
CHILDHOOD WAS NOT THAT BAD
