Lost Two Good Friends Last Night

Topic: SadPoetry

Lost two good friends last night
Said what was on my mind
But my mind was not
In the right space and time
Panic attack set in the present
Thinking about the past and future
Got confused, which road to take
They were there to help
I didn’t believe them then
But I believe them now
That they’re gone
Lost two good friends last night
Never had that happen before
My head got hit by a brick
The brick wasn’t even there
Said some things that I know aren’t true
But at the time I needed to say
They tried to help and got in the way
But that’s not the way I see it now
Help me find you again
I don’t deserve it but I need it
Selfishness, I learned my lesson
I hope I learned my lesson
Said some things I want back
Said some things that we all want back
Changed everything
Whether it did or not
It’s changed
So sorry
So sorry
I am so sorry…
