In the manner of a fly.

Sometimes, when I am all alone, sitting against the backdrop of my wall cross-legged and stretching in the manner of a fly after having just finished with its meal of sugary vomit, I look into my hands and I am filled with wonder.
The remote has gone missing again.
I hate losing things. Hell of a bad feeling that is,
Like a blunt crusading statement of stupidity.
Now where in hell is the goddamned remote!
I found it.
It took me twenty minutes, but-
I found it.
It was on my bed- Stupid bed.
Stupid remote-
It will never be my fault.
It is the gremlins
Or the gnomes,
Or the wicked leery moments
Of deep thought, (i.e.; deep thought suggests hiding remote from self).
Sometimes, when I am all alone, lounging in the backdrop of my wall cross-legged and stretching in the manner of an old Indian mound washing away with rain, I look into my hands
and laugh.
