If this had been another time
you may of read an elaborate delineation
a description so elucidated
in the fashion and form of hatred itself
your abrupt minds would not be able to cope
your eyes would bleed
and I would have won
I have chosen to be the defeated
and slash my face
from left to right
in memory and in thought
of the way I once cut you
pour it may
kill me finally possibly maybe
if you wish it that way
I bow and granted it is
no exuse
no valid reason for the torment
the bereavement
forced upon you
burned into your soul
no apologies can be accepted
no type of revenge would even the odds square
but if it would make you feel better
to have my head on the mantle
my heart in a locket
my lungs on the fire
your desire?
be it?
be it not?
is what you are getting
what you need
is it?
it is not?
is what i am giving
