Insanity Becomes Her

She’s crazy
They told her
As lies fill her head.
Repeating her flaws
She stands there
As life passes her by.
Can’t feel a thing
I’ll close my eyes
And look away.
Holding on by a string
I’ll cover my ears
And wait for yesterday.
I’m insane
They yelled to me
As hate consumes my body.
Screaming for silence
Numbing away the pain
I sit and let it drift away.
Can’t feel a thing
I’ll gouge my eyes
And slowly fade away.
Waiting for pain to bring
All the petty games
Spitting at my dismay.
You’re crazy
I called to you
As they eat you alive.
Skin so brittle
Eyes so cold
You’ll lay here and die.
I can’t make you
Feel a thing
I’m tired of trying.
You’re world is turning blue
I won’t save it
I’ll watch you as you’re dying.
