I wished I could write beautifully
I wished there was something beautiful about me.
I can’t sing to touch the soul,
And I can’t turn heads on my life.
I wished I could write something beautiful.
That could shine with the stars
In flawless contrast, the blackest blue,
perfecting the purest white.
Diamonds of time, ageless serentiy.
Slick and clever, like water
The ocean smoothes over the shore,
Gently, soft and fluid.
Swirling, ever changing.
Quick, something never to be matched.
But always fooling.
As accepted as a flower,
Each to it’s own,
But all belonging to something.
Made for someone.
They may not last forever,
What does?
Truly, something beautiful
As I had felt would be something untouched
Pure and simple,
But with a whole world behind it.

This is a good poem. I really liked the second and third stanzas. Nice work.
