You were a hat trick, you were the room
Evil spirits came to greet you babe, they came too soon
I was sleeping in the sunlight, sh(censored)it; you were shaking in a tomb
There was fire in the pedals; there was darkness in the noon
I took apart my mattress, gold, I found none underneath
Transparent bards, matchbook cars, a road less to deceive
If we talked a million chatters we’d find no room to grieve
But the point of puncture, evidence, is living lacked to leave
Ten to one accomplices, paradise my prince
Winning fights, ember lights, this face’s made to wince
Could I cause a comedy? Dear, I’d find the saving chance
Never caught the cause of it, together, never, ever, since
Turn the table, create your fables
I’ve heard stories, they bring me pain, I’m just not able
But caned to a feeling, the naïve hope to stable
Like a wire to a foreign phone the television to my cable
Have you got the chance? I’ve not looked back since
We found emptiness a feeling, but if it’s nothing, where’s the *****?
I don’t get the thought; don’t feel the thing, hell, is there something here
We missed? A tenant on a mail run? A cat booted on a hiss?
