THE SINGLE LIFE

Contributed by MILLER_GENUINE_SWINE on Wednesday, 16th May 2007 @ 05:36:11 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

WHY DO I LOVE WHEN NO ONE ELSE DOES

I S IT FOR THE THOUGHT OR JUST BECAUSE

CAN WE FEEL

I MEAN FOR REAL

WHAT IS LOVE WHAT DOES IT STAND FOR

DOES IT MEAN YOU DON'T HAVE TO SEARCH ANYMORE

WHY DO WE SAY I LOVE YOU

IT'S ALL THE SAME AND NOTHING NEW

CAN WE SEE LIFE ETERNITY

OR SHOULD WE SIT AND LET LIFE BE

CAN WE FEEL JUST ONE LAST THOUGHT

FOR ALL THE DATING WE HAVE SOUGHT

IS THERE ONE JUST OUTSIDE MY REACH

IS THIS BOUNDRY SOMETHING I SHOULD BREACH

WHY SHOULD WE DATE

IT JUST TURNS TO HATE

MAYBE I'LL BE SINGLE FOR EVER MORE

NO MORE TO BE PEEKING IN LOVES DOOR

Good write. I've been in a similar place, questioning the purpose and the meaning of love but I have yet to find my answer. But I agree with Shelby, great love typically happens when you least expect it, and when you are in the midst of a really great love, at least in my experience, you will find the reason why it is that we love. When it' s good it's amazing, and I just try to forget about when it's bad lol.
