A dark gown consuming the floor,
Filled with cold pale skin
From a most beautiful dame
Which the black of the night
Has left its’ deathly mark,
Are you asleep my dear?
Speaks a voice from the wind,
Not a breath nor reply,
Then shall you sing to me?
Comes a voice from the moonlight,
Not a sound nor melody,
What is it that bothers you my love?
Caresses from a warm being,
Not an answer nor emotion,
Am I dead to you tonight?
Wails a tormented voice,
Not a breath nor reply,
Only a silent dark gown
Filled with the remnants
Of a most beautiful dame
