There's a Love

There’s a love, not lost, in no way forgotten.
For years, been dead, yet one day not rotten.
Cant picture the times, laid blind to corrode,
to pick at the scars no stitches had sewed.
Fool made the bid, then eyes left the scene,
poisoned like fire, thoughtless, so green.
So long in its grave, asleep like the dead.
Breathing it’s ice, spite fire its fed.
