World outside, how could you be so cruel? My heart you stepped
on without even a second thought.
World outside, you've broken my trust which I so eagerly gave.
World outside, you shoved me off course from the journey which I
had intended. Leaving me in places unfamiliar to my sight, and so
unsettling to my soul.
World outside, the light you attempted to extinguish has
maintained its flame, lighting the path I traveled during these times
of darken skies.
World outside, you kicked me while I was down, but my will and
spirit have remained strong! Your best shots I took and now here I
stand. This fight I now know, you will not win!
World outside, you tried to take everything that truly mattered. Yet
love and hope I always kept tight beside me. Love from those I
hold so dear, has seen me thru my loneliest of times. Hope restores
with the coming of each new day, my belief of a better day ahead !
World outside, I'm peering around the walls I built to protect me.
Ready to accept what comes my way, the ups and the downs. Can't
you see? Don't you understand? I'm ready to resume what you
attempted to take away. My mind, spirit, and soul renewed, I will
no longer hide, I'm moving beyond the walls to face the..................
