The Power of Pain

Softened edges of time surround my mind,
Judgment learned from others now behind.
Soul’s song as mystical as a two headed unicorn,
Painted on canvass surrounded by thorn.

A meditation of fire with angels that walk through redeemed.
Word of love with no whisper now being screamed.
Awaken to the love that heals the hearts of busted beings.
Make dreams together, chase the passions, start the seeing.

Eyes and hearts now open walk again.
Leave hopeless shadows past, wash out the pain.
Take burden as a chest of gold now earned.
Go into knowingness with all you’ve learned.

Nice enchanted and magical poem. Writing magical poems is hard to rhyme. Good Job! When you said "eyes ans hearts now open walk again," I understand that you were once a silent more concealed person but wht your heart was telling you was said, and what your eye saw, you commented on. Your poem talked about how words of love were whispered then screamed, that was touching. You went real deep and it made sense. Keep it up.

When you need a friend,
Ian (ihop)

I like that line very much. As i like all your writting. This poem could serve as a mini tutorial on life. Quite true in every sence of the word. Hope your not in pain though.
Lovely work as always. take care.

Superb write, my friend. So much wisdom in your words. I loved the entire write but the ending...

"Take burden as a chest of gold now earned.
Go into knowingness with all you've learned."

Wonderful, wonderful piece. Thank you for sharing.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

We all know the power of pain it can really tear a person apart. Though many people try to warn us with their experiences we need to experience pain for ourselves. It is nice to know that in the midst of pain there is still a aftermath. We have the power to overcome. This poem makes you think and feel and I really enjoyed it.

You have narrated this poem with an astounding depth of feeling and understanding.
Pain and discomfort are necessary to grow and teach you about life, and such lessons stay with you making you stronger. You have superbly captured the essence of this.
A pleasure to read, and the ending is wonderful,

Take care,
Dom

Wisdom shared with magic in its midst.
Yes our pain in life can have a two sided effect, either make us or break us as a person. Strength comes after the pain , some of us need to take that into account when it seems there is only darkclouds hanging above our heads. I do so love your poetry it leaves an imprint in the heart.

It is indeed a true poem of wisdom with a expression of inner pain which is predominantly visible in this master piece.

Wow ND! This is a profound testament TRULY to the power
of pain.
Right from the title and on-down, you have expressed,
without exception, the potency and beauty, (yes BEAUTY) that
pain carries. It is through the experience of pain that we find
the wonder of joy. I am so happy to have read this tonight. Full
of amazing insight, my friend.
