The guilt used to be unbearable
I really thought I was terrible
When I saw the flames rise higher
I tried to stop the fire
How did I start all this?
What really drove to this?
I though I was evil
So I began to kneel.
My heart began to sink
Why didn’t I think?
When that building began to burn
My heart began to yearn for
The power to turn and run
But I could not
Instead I stood and stared
However I wanted to pull out my hair
As I watched the smoldering ashes
I saw the blue and red flashes
I still could not run
So I was punished for what I had done
